In the movie business, an independent film has to have more ticket sales than the other movies in the theater otherwise it's dropped to make room for new releases. 5. How Can I Buy Out An Entire Show Time?
Many groups want to buy out an entire showtime for their group. Since Group Discounts and vouchers are typically sold in blocks of 50, people wanting to buy out an entire showtime need to be prepared to cover the full ticket price for an odd number of tickets. Example: theatre auditoriu
6. What Is The Difference Between A Ticket And A Voucher?
In most cases, vouchers can be obtained early, but still have to be redeemed at the Box Office once actual show time tickets go on sale. Many theatres sell vouchers/coupons to groups at a discount. These come in blocks of 50 and are ordered from a theatre's 1-800 Number or a website. Prices are typically comparable to matinee rates. Group Discounts usually do not apply for matinee showtimes. 7. What About Student, Child, and Senior Adult Ticket Prices?
If you're group is going to have a mix of ages, you will need to work directly with the theatre as soon as tickets go on sale at the Box Office. For groups interested in buying a block of 50 or more tickets or vouchers in advance, you can typically buy these tickets at matinee price which overrides any age group discount and typically is not valid for matinee show times.
